in the broken part of my heart
entered an angel so divine
I thought recognized it’s spirit
and then realized that it was mine


for within each moment
there is more than we may know
it holds the past and the future
and the soul that does evolve


and one day
we will be one with Spirit
when we let go of this earthly form
and we may be allowed to be present
to go back in that moment
when we were in need of more love


what gift would your angelic self give
to the past and broken you
that prayed so hard to be healed
and reached out to God to be renewed


for in a timeless moment
your heart may be healed with love
and you can be enfolded
with angel wings that give you a glimpse
of the many blessings yet to come


and I heard a soft whisper
that told me all is well my friend
and it gave me hope to carry on
and a blessing to share and send
